Liquid silicone rubber ENGINEERING COMPOUND PC-25
Platinum Cure type PC-25 liquid silicone is intended for the production of durable casting molds. This silicone compound cures at room temperature with minimal (>0.1%) shrinkage. The curing compound has high tensile and tear resistance, making it ideal for both large and small molds.
ENGINEERING COMPOUND PC-25 features:
- Stable dimensions retention;
- Very low shrinkage (>0.1 %);
- Food grade;
- Excellent tear strength;
- Very high elongation and flexibility;
- No hazardous ingredients.
ENGINEERING COMPOUND PC-25 mixing:
Mix components A and B in a clean and dry container in equal parts (1A:1B by volume or weight). Mix carefully for about 3 minutes and make sure that both components are well mixed – pay attention to the side walls and bottom of the mixing container. To avoid air bubbles, place the well-mixed mixture in a vacuum chamber.
ENGINEERING COMPOUND PC-25 package:
- PC-25 part A – 0.5 kg/ 1 kg/ 2.5 kg;
- PC-25 part B – 0.5 kg/ 1 kg/ 2.5 kg.
